I had just saw his report, who would have ever thought Kathy Hart on WGN Radio, you might think maybe more of a lines of a music radon station, but she will be on with Frank Fontana three times including 2 of his shows, and then they will fill in for John Williams as well. It seems like he has been taking some time off lately as Pete McMurrary as subbed for him as well.

I wonder how Frank Fontana must be feeling about this, assuming he knows, he gone months without a show due to Chicago White Sox baseball, their season ends so means he has his show on a regular basis again until the Chicago White Sox begin their 2019 schedule. And now he has to work with a woman that was fired off the Mix that was on the #1 show, that went awol for months, which it was clear that she no longer wanted to be on the show, you would think if she did she would have shown up for the show instead of going awol.

A long, long, long time ago, I had a single date well before she met her to-be husband. Without going into the sorted low points of the evening, I can see why the MIX waived good-bye. I feel sorry for the fact she may have went through a period of physical health difficultly and needed recovery time. And she is entitled to her privacy on that matter.

However, the rumblings of how she was perceived was not at all surprising to me after my brief encounter. After 6 months, the MIX needed to move on. Especially in the PPM world where ratings compression makes/breaks shows these days.

Never the less, I wish her well.

Robert Feder is reporting in his Robservations https://www.robertfeder.com/2018/11/05/robservations-one-sun-times-brings-back-crossword/ , to expect more to come on Kathy Hart filling in on WGN Radio. It is the second news story, and he is quoting Todd Manley that she will be filling in multiple times over the next two months. SO all we can see where and maybe with whom, will she continue with Frank Fontana or pair her with another host. Or will she do it on a solo basis, which I don't know if she wants to learn how to the soundboards that are in most of the studios at WGN Radio, or have an engineer do the board and she sits on the side. It will be interesting to see when and where she will pop up in the next two months. As you know the holiday season will be soon, and this month will be Thanksgiving and the day after, where all the regular hosts will be off at least 2 days maybe more if they request off like say the day before. And then you know in December they will again all take off the last couple of weeks, and then won't return again until after New Year's Day.
