WPLB Plattsburgh, NY

I've been listening to this OTA/streaming station for a few months now and noticed they give their COL (at the TOH break) as "Plattsburgh-Montreal". Since their official (American) COL is Plattsburgh, what does the addition of a city in Canada add or is it just because their signal obviously is heard in border Canada?

Just a marketing gimmick and makes them sound big.
