Brand New Station 104.7 FM on the Air in NYC

104.7 FM ID of WPAT HD 2 1 World Trade Center NYC...

That's a good question. Unfortunately, 104.7 is stunting playing songs that were associated with New York City in the titles.

My suggestion is putting an oldies format on 104.7 playing nothing but 50's, 60's and 70's oldies, just like WGNY-FM's "Fox Oldies" in the Hudson Valley, WROW's "Magic 590/100.5" in Albany, and WLNG in Sag Harbor did, along with the now defunct WABY in Watervilet where they used to play oldies mixing with MOR standards like the good old WNEW-AM and WQEW did a long time ago.

My guess it will be an oldies format that NYC is missing since 2005 when WCBS-FM flipped to "Jack". Let's see if this helps.
