Bill Daily dies at 91

That Newhart show was full of great characters, Daily's Howard Borden among them. Like "Mary Tyler Moore," it had an ensemble cast that played off the star to perfection.

I didn't see him on the "Newhart" show but that's one I'd consider watching now.

I had the opportunity to see "Jeannie" reruns a few years ago. Some I had watched as a teenager, but I really enjoyed the show.

To clarify, he was on "The Bob Newhart Show," the one with Bob as psychologist Bob Hartley, not the later "Newhart."

Bill Daily did make a singular appearance on "Newhart," playing the role of Sam Leary in the episode entitled, "Good Neighbor Sam" (season 8; episode 14).
