There are some interesting changes in the August ratings compared to July.
KHKS had a big jump to further solidify their lead while KZPS holds steady in 2nd place.
Jack FM had a nice gain to move ahead of KLUV, who fell.
But what really caught my attention were the following things:
WRR jumped from a 2.0 to a 3.0!?! I've seen them in the high 2s before, but I bet it's been 20 years since they were at a 3.
I just can't figure out what they did to get ratings like that.
As noted last month, KEGL's HD2 shows up with a 0.1 apparently because 1 single reference of an HD station will
get it in the book. Of more interest to me is the fact that KTCK's stream gets a 0.4 while streams for KCBI, KERA and KVIL also all show up.
Has there been some kind of change about the reporting for streams that is causing this jump?
