Why is Judge Judy not on cable?

Why are there no Judge Judy reruns on cable? Its the most watched daytime program and has rated very well since it started. Is it not allowed to be as its just for syndication? Over in the UK its on 5 channels on satellite and its popular. It's also repeated around the world. But then isn't Dr Phil also on OWN? I know CBS recently acquired the Judge Judy library last year. When/Where do they actually plan on airing older episodes? It's not like Judge Judy is new, it's going 22 years, you'd think it would have been repeated somewhere over the years?

Way back when Paramount Network was TNN (The National Network), they used to air reruns of Judge Mills Lane. And The People's Court with Judge Wapner used to be on USA in the mid '90s. Perhaps there's some type of contract that prohibits U.S. cable syndication of Judy?

Some stations that air Judge Judy air FOUR different runs of the show daily. That's where all the re-runs are.

Because its not

And I'm glad it's not. The two areas there isn't as much of in reruns on cable are trash talk and courtroom shows, and I hope it stays that way. They're on the CW 100+ feed, but that's more like a feed for local CW stations.

If you actually want to see reruns of daytime courtroom shows or trash there is a channel on Roku called Nosey that has reruns of a lot of daytime TV. It shows game shows from Buzzr, which I will watch, but the rest of it is courtroom shows, trash talk, which to me are the biggest part of what ruined daytime TV.

its a station that is designed for markets 100+ to carry the CW and other than a couple spots where they can locally program it (for news as example) they dont really have to do anything except maybe some local commercials here and there. There are 4 markets not in the top 100 that carry it
Brownsville/Harlingen TX (84)
Charleston SC (92)
Burlington, VT (97)
Fayetteville, AR (98)

dang. Minneapolis has 4 shows daily. 2 new ones on FOX 9 (KMSP) at 4 & 4:30 and 2 older reruns on FOX 9+ (WFTC) at 5 & 5:30

Speaking of Judge Judy on Friday they had some "classic" cases....classic as in "you cant make this sh*t up"

-a guy suing for $5000 for a $10 haircut because the lady cut his hair short. The dude was pretty much bald on top and had shorter hair to begin with. Crazy part? He was a lawyer!!!
-a guy suing some renters because the guy owned a vacation house built into a hill and the kid renting it for a weekend drove his snowmobile over the roof. Idiot kid even brought a video to show of him doing it!!! (His defense was well the roof can hold alot of weight so it can hold a couple hundred pounds...and there were no signs saying he couldn't)

Not to mention some stations even air weekend reruns too. For example in DC WTTG/FOX 5 airs the show weekdays 4pm-5pm (first run episodes) and on WDCA/FOX 5 Plus from 6pm-7pm (reruns) as well as Saturday from 5pm-6pm (looks like they're airing episodes from 2015 next week)

Minneapolis and Mankato air weekend shows depending on the sports load.

As example in Mankato its usually on KEYC-DT2 but yesterday they were shown on KEYC CBS during the "local time" before national programming came on at 2:00 CDT

They are on Sunday evenings 5-6PM on KIMA. Episodes are currently from 2014.
