Has been for about 2 weeks now. Are they relocating the transmitter or did the MARTA people dismantle the tower and haul it off to the scrap yard?
Or maybe they just forgot to pay the electric bill. Anybody know?

So that means either 101.1 is off the air, or they're now using an FM station's HD channel to translate.

The rules are that the FM translator operation must adhere to the operation of the AM primary station. If the primary station is off the air, the translator should also be off the air, or at the very least, request special permission to operate without the AM for a temporary period of time specified by the FCC. The only exception is if the AM station is a sunrise to sunset daytime only operation but 1310 has nighttime power, albeit, limited. The FCC will allow a daytime AM's translator to operate during hours the AM is off the air at night due to its license limitation. The 890 AM is an example of a daytime only AM.

1310 Back On The Air

And sounding better than ever. At least they don't sound like a pirate anymore.
Did they make the move from the MARTA parking lot?
They've been running high power nightime too.
Probably testing.
