Spring Nielsens - Page 2

Most stations either up or down a few tenths of a point. Biggest gain was for WBHJ "Jamz" up a full share. WPYA "97.3 PLAY" continues to climb for the last few periods, too, actually coming out ahead of the smaller FM translators for what seems like the very first time with the hot AC format. :O WBHJ HD3 has a 0.5 share...I am guessing that is the FM translator for WAGG at 100.1? Numbers for WJOX, WJQX, WUHT, and WZRR are unavailable, as Cumulus must be subscribing to just the quarterly Nielsens.

It is interesting how little the Birmingham market changes over time. The top stations stay the same, the middle stations stay the same, and the bottom stations stay the same. Why has it been many years since any station really showed dramatic upward momentum?

Mobile is the same.
The only thing that changes is where out-of-market stations like TK101, Jet 100.7, and 107.3 the Beat fall in sequence with the local stations and those numbers are not published.
