KNUC Closes The Gap

Yeah, by a tenth of a point, genius. And that's in the beauty contest numbers.

As if they have better news in the 25-54? One year ago, KMPS had a 4.5. So Entercom killed them and kept the Wolf. Smart move.

So when do you predict Hubbard will flip formats again?

Not until after all these party kegs are finished. Consume.

But KNUC hasn't earned their mudflaps just yet. Both KMPS and KKWF have appeared at #1. This is their next mission.....

I think that may take a while. As others have said, Seattle isn't necessarily a country music town. But this isn't traditional country music. Seattle people like to have fun, and this is music for having fun. It's also music that focuses on lyrics. That's missing from some other formats.

They key will be the morning show. Fitz was very successful at the Wolf. He really hasn't been replaced. But Tim & crew have a unique style that might work in Seattle. Tim's a big family guy, and people identify with that. He's a joiner and a volunteer. He does a lot of charity work. So he may meet people who don't listen while he's out in the community. That's what will make the difference. Outreach.

Looks like that outreach didn't work out.
