I just read a wired magazine article about a artist releasing a Quadraphonic Vinyl release on 6/4 just hours away!!! At a price of $227 for the vinyl and the quadraphonic decoder.

I heard some interesting stories about radio stations in the past broadcasting in quad such as KITE-FM 104.5 in San Antonio, and Good Karma Radio 103.7 in San Marcos during the 70's.
With radio trying to stay relevant these days and attract more listeners why not revive a format that was the precursor to modern day surround sound?
I can see them easily do QS or SQ Full Logic, or even CD-4 like sound by using translators front left and right on one rear left and right on the other.
