100.3 HD2 The Sound of the Strip replaced by Hip Hop/R&B

As if this week, KJKK-HD2 is now "V100.3 HD2 DFW's New Hip Hop and R&B."

I haven't listened a lot (not my kinda music), but when I have, I've heard liners, but no live announcers.

Welcome back to 1996! Wonder if they will use any of the original liners.

Not for this station. The old V100 liners should only be used for an Urban AC station not a Mainstream Urban.

Sounds a lot like what they did in Houston with KILT HD2 a while back. It's a reincarnation of the old heritage country station KIKK-FM, but with a Texas Country twist.

This is very disappointing news to me. I loved The Strip. It was one of my favorite HD stations.

I really doubt there will be listeners because most people listen to K104 (KKDA), The Beat (KBFB) and KRNB.

When i hear them say "Your listening to V103" It displays 100.3 HD2 The Strip on the text. I did get a recording of the person saying "Your listening to V103" that you guys can listen to.

I totally agree with Salem. "V100.3" is identified with Urban AC. "100.3 Jamz" is identified with Hip Hop
