Not directly related to broadcasting, but there are some who were very unhappy about the way the FCC abolished net neutrality. So the Senate voted on a bill to reinstate it. All Democrats and three Republicans. Not likely to get past the House, and then it would require a signature from the president. Also not likely, at least now. Kind of surprised McConnell let it get to the floor.

It's not just a Democrat proposal. Musicians and independents are also very supportive of this. I'm surprised Bob Corker didn't join the Democrats on this one, given how angry people in his state are about this.
