    Two things, though"

    1. The Fairness Doctrine only applied to over-the-air radio and TV, right? (Or did it ever apply to cable, etc.)

    2. Odd, a newspaper pushing the Fairness Doctrine--it never applied to print media anyway.

Print media loves to lecture radio and TV how to do their gig.

This has been discussed at length. The Democrats considered reviving it, until they discovered it wouldn't solve the problem.
