KLOVE expanding Detroit signal

To UMFan, David Eduardo and BigA: any thoughts on when EMF/K-Love will start being heard at 102.7 FM ?

I'm guessing the changeover will occur within days (perhaps even within hours?) of the FCC approving the transaction. It's already been a few weeks since the sale was first announced. Might the changeover happen as soon as late June? I want to say FCC approval of the KSWD/Los Angeles sale took just under 60 days.

Having K-Love available on one station that covers most of the market will be a great thing for Contemporary Christian music fans. WMUZ offers such programming on a part-time basis only. When K-Love enters a market for the first time on a big signal, to what degree does it normally disrupt the ratings of secular AC stations?

I agree that as soon as the FCC approves it, it'll be K-LOVE from the bird within the hour or as soon as possible. This is not a controversial sale and the seller is motivated to get it done. I would guess it closes by the end of June and K-LOVE is heard before the 4th of July.
