WBZC 88.9 is still off the air!

The 88.9 transmitter has been off the air completely for the past 3 months. Are they even going to sell the station? Or did they not want to pay the electric bill for the 10000 watt transmitter. Just seems odd that it's been silent so long

There was never any announcement of the station being sold like there was when they sold off the Translators. It's possible no one wanted the signal, or not for a price that the college may have been offering. So, until it expires, why waste the electricity etc.?
