Thanks for posting this! Does anyone know which shows were pre-empted by baseball on WCAY?
 
I didn't get to Nashville as often in the late 80's, but in looking at WSMV's schedule it looks like they were as bad as WMC in Memphis about pre-empting a big part of NBC's schedule. But the stupidest move was pre-empting Johnny Carson. Even WMC didn't do that. Yet they still carried David Letterman on time, which WMC had always delayed by up to an hour. Over all it looks like WSMV was as bad or worse than WMC at that time.
 
WZTV was the Channel of Love in Nashville, picking up NBC shows that WSMV passed up.
