Compliments to 99.5 The Mountain on their audio quality

I listen to a lot of Denver stations and some of them sound very good, but 99.5 The Mountain has things just about perfect in my opinion.

From the source audio, to the amount of compression/gain, to the equalization, to the lack of distortion, they sound excellent.

My compliments to their engineers.

Sometimes I even find myself listening to songs that I don't even really like that much, but I think wow that sounds good.......ha ha.

Now I'm going to contradict myself....ha ha. I'm thinking The Mountain might be a little too "bright" with their EQ settings.

I'm changing to KBCO as the best sound quality. I'm just really picky though. There are several stations that sound quite good.

I won't mention the bad ones, but there is one that sounds like they use really low bit rate mp3 files. Hard to listen to except in the car where I can't tell as much.
