Accusations of sexual and racial discrimination against controversial Infowars owner and host Alex Jones have come to light following the publication of legal complaints by former staff.

The Daily Mail has published complaints to the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) by former employee Rob Jacobson, who claims he was unfairly dismissed last May after enduring a culture of discrimination and harassment, and Ashley Beckford, a former production assistant on the show.

Beckford reportedly joined Infowars' parent company Free Speech Systems in June 2016 where she said discrimination against her began almost immediately, culminating in sexual assault by Jones himself.

According to the EEOC complaint, the former Infowars employee claims Jones groped her bottom while pretending feel sympathy over an incident she had been involved in.

During the incident, Jones is also accused of making racially charged comments to others in the room. “Who wouldn’t want to have a black wife?” he asked.

“I felt embarrassed and nervous, but I knew that he had specifically touched my behind at that moment as a sly come-on that other people may not notice,” Beckford said of the incident.

In multiple allegations Beckford, an African-American, has said she was referred to with racial epithets such as “coon” by one senior manager and mocked for her skin tone. At the same time Beckford says she was also passed over for promotion to positions that would match the salaries of her peers and coworkers.

Damn Alex Jones and Scandals are not a surprise here. Especially when Jones has a Youtube show and a Radio Show on GCN affiliates.

It will be uncertain on How GCN and Youtube will handle Alex Jones now that this allegation is out.

Time to cash in I don’t blame them. If there is blood in the water go in for the KILL!

Well but Jones is one of these people who outright put his skeletons in public. I kind of understand why the accusers would come out now with misconduct allegations. If the victims came forward with misconduct allegations on Jones during the Chobani lawsuit Jones would have created a new scandal and bury other Scandals he was in with new scandals.

http://www.nydailynews.com/news/national/alex-jones-claims-slept-150-women-age-16-article-1.3095514

I kind of understand why the media had to move on from the harassment allegation on Jones at the time it was because Jones Ex wife, Comet Ping Pong and Chobani had a treasure trove of scandals that were verified.

Yes The question will be how long will GCN affiliates air Infowars before they will have to cancel their contract with Jones.

I've said it before in other threads, but the majority of stations that carry Alex Jones are dollar a holler outfits that don't care who they let on as long as the airtime is paid for, and GCN is very likely the same way considering some of the other shows that are on their schedule who may not be quite as bad as Jones, but are still are conspiracy oriented. But I do think it's past time for You Tube to ban him.

I'll add one other comment: The only way I see GCN dropping Alex Jones is if they get hit with a serious enough lawsuit from his accusers, but I don't know if that will happen.

So far Advertisers are pulling out of Alex Jones YouTube channel though. Something to note here It will be interesting to see if GCN will respond. Remember during the Brother Stair scandal you had OTA Radio stations like KCAA in California end contracts with Brother Stair once he was caught in a scandal. It will be interesting to see if GCN will do the same. Or will shortwave defend Jones no matter what scandal Infowars is in. Now I found that shocking mainly because why would shortwave radio defend a scandal plagued person more than even yes Youtube, Cable, and OTA TV and Radio and that was brought up in the Stair Scandal.

Wow GCN should have gotten their act together last year when Jones was in 4 scandals at the the same time like the Pizzagate shooting, the Child Custody trial, the Chobani Scandal and yes Jones apparent "150 women rant" you would have expected GCN to have fired him in 2017 but somehow they defended him throughout 4 scandals running concurrently. YouTube , Twitter Facebook at the same time were being pressured to fight fake news and hate speech at the time these incidents were taking place. See Jones had more scandals taking place at the same time last year than even Fox News was facing when they had to remove O'Reilly for one scandal and Ailes for 1 scandal with multiple victims.

Update on Jones

YouTube told CBS News Saturday that it is not planning on taking down InfoWars founder Alex Jones' YouTube channel, despite his earlier claims on Twitter and in videos. Additionally, YouTube confirmed that some advertisers had asked to be removed from running ads from Jones' channels, and YouTube had notified him of that.

On Saturday night, Jones tweeted that he had "set up a new channel" that the "SPLC," an acronym for the Southern Poverty Law Center, wanted censored. In one of the videos on the channel called "InfoWars Censored," Jones said, "We're live on Facebook, on Twitter, on Periscope, but we cannot go live on the Alex Jones channel -- it's been frozen for the third time in one week."

Jones claimed it was "part of an internet purge." Jones said YouTube told him all his 33,000 videos would be removed

YouTube said he had not been told that, and there are "no plans" to remove his channel Sunday "at present." Further, YouTube said his description is not how the termination process works. YouTube maintains a three-strikes policy and offers an appeals process.

"60 Minutes": How fake news becomes a popular, trending topic
Jones, a conspiracy theorist who once called the Sandy Hook shooting a hoax, has recently taken aim at the survivors of the Parkland, Florida, school shooting that left 17 dead. He posted a video in February with the headline "David Hogg Can't Remember His Lines" calling a student a "crisis actor," which was taken down. In a later video, Jones claimed "if you even talk about [Hogg], they delete your videos." In that video, Jones claimed their video had said "we believe he is not a crisis actor, we believe he has been given lines, and the other students have."

Hogg told CBS News "I am a witness" to the shooting. "I am not a Clinton ploy or an actor," Hogg said.

I would believe that about "an internet purge" Local (WSB) talker Monica Perez had one of hers pulled also. She is a libertarian conspiracy theorist talker on Saturday afternoons in Atlanta. The show is very popular with listeners.
Her video criticized Sheriff Scott Israel on his response to the recent Florida school shooting. But Monica does not see it as a setback. In fact, listeners congratulated her on being elevated to a new level of status in the talk radio industry.

I'll add one other comment: The only way I see GCN dropping Alex Jones is if they get hit with a serious enough lawsuit from his accusers, but I don't know if that will happen.

And Now Alex Jones our favorite troll is getting Sued by Pepe the frog's owners. Damn Right when I'm expecting the racial misconduct and Sexual misconduct's lawsuits to come out this happens and its a copyright issue.

https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/t...suing-infowars-copyright-infringement-1092233

Matt Furie says his "peaceful frog-dude" was co-opted in a poster featuring Pepe alongside InfoWars founder Alex Jones, President Donald Trump, Milo Yiannopoulos and others.

The legal campaign to take Pepe the Frog back from the alt-right is now in California federal court as artist Matt Furie has filed a copyright lawsuit against InfoWars.

Furie says he created Pepe as a "peaceful frog-dude" at the beginning of the century with the catchphrase "Feels good man." His anthropomorphic creation then became a meme on the internet, and was tweeted by Katy Perry, Nicki Minaj and Buzzfeed, among others.

"But beginning in 2015, various fringe groups connected with the alt-right attempted to co-opt Pepe by mixing images of Pepe with images of hate, including white supremacist language and symbols, Nazi symbols, and other offensive imagery," states the complaint lodged in court Monday. "Furie has worked hard to counteract that negative image of Pepe, including collaborating with the Anti-Defamation League on the #SavePepe campaign to restore Pepe as a character representing peace, togetherness, and fun."

The lawsuit pinpoints one poster in particular as a source of copyright infringement. The poster features Pepe alongside InfoWars founder Alex Jones, President Donald Trump, Milo Yiannopoulos, Ann Coulter, Matt Drudge, Roger Stone and others with the text "MAGA," short for Trump's campaign slogan, "Make America Great Again."

Furie, represented by attorney Rebecca Girolamo at Wilmer Cutler, says he didn't authorize such use of Pepe. He alleges the poster is being sold by InfoWars in its online store.

The plaintiffs will need to show how they have been hurt. ALSO they will need to show that Jones (and other alt-right groups) KNEW that it was copyrighted when they used it. ALSO, WHEN was it copyrighted? After the use or before. I think the fair use defense will prevail since it has been used by others for some time.
As for the racial aspect of Jones, his ancestry is American Indian.
Furthermore, talkers, including Limbaugh, will tell you their show is for entertainment purposes only.

Update apparently there another allegation showing Alex Jones and Cheerleaders. Who knows but that would require the cheerleader in question to come forward and say that Jones harassed her at 17.
