Does anyone know if this translator of KANI 1500AM Gospel is up and running?

I heard Top 40 on it when I drove through Kendleton-Beasley-Rosenberg a few Sundays ago.

Not sure if it was KVIC Victoria or another station, never got call letters or a station ID. It wasn't RDS'ing.
 
So I took a trip to Sugar Land yesterday, and K284CS is up and running, but it is not translating Gospel, instead it sounds as if a CD is skipping non-stop.

The signal is stronger than projected. I heard it just outside of El Campo all the way to Sugar Land.

KBME should buy it to cover their nighttime shortcomings.
 
If skips were BPMs, the rate would be 180 BPM.

It skipped well before you could figure out what was playing.

PSYOPS could have played the noises of this station outside the Catolico Iglesia in Panama and Noriega would have been forced out immediately.
