Iheartradio has released this statement on the move

iHeartMedia Country WFUS-FM (US103.5)/Tampa appoints Cindy Spicer as its new Program Director, effective February 19. Spicer previously served as the Program Director and air personality for co-owned Country WQIK-FM in Jacksonville, FL. She's also worked as a Program Director and air talent for the former KUSS-FM in San Diego. Spicer received her Bachelor of Science in Business from the University of Colorado, Denver.
"I could not be more excited for Cindy to join our team at US103.5," said iHM Tampa Bay Senior VP/Programming Tommy Chuck. "Cindy has a track record of incredible success and I am excited to watch her dominate Tampa Bay!"
