Big Bob Miller honored with statue at Staples Center

LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- Los Angeles Kings broadcasting legend Bob Miller was honored Saturday with a statue unveiling ceremony in front of Staples Center.

Miller's likeness sits near another broadcasting legend, Chick Hearn, a man who actually recommended Miller for the job in 1972.

The longtime voice of the team retired after 44 seasons last April.

Completely appropriate to a completely deserving and classy man. Just like Chick and Vin, there is simply no one better than Bob. He is still very much missed on the broadcasts.
