Yes theres a misconduct lawsuit against two radio hosts from Tampa over a questionable tape involving Hulk Hogan.

After a year trying to get money from GAWKER after winning a defamation case (NET NEWS, 5/17/17), iconic professional wrestler HULK HOGAN is back in court -- this time against COX Talk WHPT (102.5 THE BONE)/TAMPA morning host MIKE CALTA, his former co-worker MATT ‘SPICE BOY’ LOYD and COX RADIO, which owns the station.

According to ABC ACTION NEWS/TAMPA BAY, a PINELLAS COUNTY, FL court judge ruled that a defamation lawsuit filed by HOGAN -- real name TERRY GENE BOLLEA –- against CALTA will move forward. The suit once again concerns the 2007 sex tape recorded by HOGAN’s former best friend, radio personality, BUBBA THE LOVE SPONGE. HOGAN alleges CALTA and LOYD were involved in ‘stealing, disseminating, using and exploiting illegally-recorded video.’

Well this is not the first time Mike Calta was sued for a scandal. A few years ago Calta was sued for using a disabled persons picture for the station website without the family's consent.

But this time Hulk Hogan suing Mike Calta for a sexual misconduct allegation is damning and how the PD and GM of WHPT Radio will react though now this is at play is still to be determined. Also who will take Calta's WHPT's spot is still yet to be determined when the Lawsuit is at play here.

Well I have not heard of any reaction or statement by the GM of WHPT over Mike Calta's allegations now that Hulk Hogan has sued him for misconduct. Somewhere down the line the pd and gm of WHPT are going to call their consultants and lawyers to make reforms given how damning the allegations are. Also when I first read the articles from ABC Action News in Tampa I thought this had to be a bad new years joke at first.
