iHeart is about to make moves in Denver!

It appears that one of the Rockers in the lineup, KBPI, will relocate to another market and frequency with one of the translators serving as a simulcast in order to make room for a new format and acquire another Denver signal which will continue to keep the cluster at the 8-station cap. This seems to be confirmed from the other website since the other stations are safe and have good ratings.

It looks like the move is now official (Monday December 11, 2017)

They can kiss probably half to two-thirds of their Denver market audience good bye.

A 250 watt translator cannot come even remotely close to replicating a 100 kW blowtorch's coverage area.

Not sure if any technical changes can be made to the Pueblo or Fort Collins-licensed facilities. Ideally, KPAW's TX facilities should be moved to the KSME site farther south. The 107.9 translator in the Denver area is very, very flimsy; the KBPI brand would be better served by a translator on a different frequency.

It appears that the other website is hinting at 106.7’s next format... and that’s no “Bull!”

I guess that means iHeartMedia wants to give Bobby Bones a Denver clearance.
