Thread: Garrison Keillor fired from Minnesota Public Radio; accused of sexual harassment

Top rated show on public radio...raised over $50 million in pledge drives over 43 years. While Keillor retired in 2016, they are firing his production company but intend to keep broadcasting A Prairie Home Companion under a different name. Seems like theft of intellectual property

Interesting idea...except the show is hardly the same any more. That was my point earlier. When Thiele was made host, the focus of the show changed. Quite often there are clauses in contracts about this kind of thing...if the company has "good cause" to fire the company, but continue the show. Similar situation going on with Charlie Rose, where the show will continue with a different host and his half of the show is gone.

Wherever they happen to be that week.

It's usually St. Paul. But it might be New York or Austin or Nashville or wherever they want to be.

In the old days it was Lake Wobegon. Is there a new "here"?
