What is your least favorite Christmas song?

Springsteen's version of Merry Christmas Baby was from a live performance as well. Was it ever officially released?

For me, it's The Twelve Days Of Christmas.
The song should be shortened to "The One Day Of Christmas."

Of course, there are others which are nearly as annoying.

Yes, I've always hated the 12 Days of Christmas. However, I like Bob River's "12 Pains of Christmas" that fits this song better.

Also can't stand "All I Want For Christmas is You" and "Baby, It's Cold Outside" (especially the Michael Bubble? version). Two overrated songs that just need to shut up!

Have to admit, I don't know where "Santa Claus Lane" is!

It was from the 1940s-era "Santa Claus Lane Parade" in Hollywood, CA. When Santa showed up in the parade, everyone cried out "Here comes Santa Claus!" That inspired Gene Autry and Oakley Halderman to write the song. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Here_Comes_Santa_Claus and https://www.kcet.org/shows/lost-la/when-hollywood-boulevard-became-santa-claus-lane

(There's also a "Santa Claus Lane" in Carpinteria, near Santa Barbara, CA. It used to sport a giant Santa Claus statue above a holiday-themed shopping center. The Santa statue is gone (moved to Oxnard) but the street name remains. http://www.carpinteria.com/points_of_interest/santaland/ )

As I mentioned my Mom listens to Lite 100.5 nearly 24/7 during the Christmas season. This morning I head 2 more dumb ones. Something about a Christmas Mouse. And one called "Suzy Snowflake."

Leave poor Jingles the Christmas Mouse alone. I grew up with that record. Every Christmas season, my mom would play the homemade cassette my grandmother made of it. When we moved to STL, we listened to the actual record. Peter Pan Singers, 1969. Was made for Clark Oil Co. The record is called Snoopy's Christmas, and has Santa flying a WWI era plane on the cover.

With how hot and humid it's been today, thinking about this makes me feel cooler.
