95.3 Translator horrible modulation

I understand that it's an AM talk signal, but the treble is set so high, that it hurts my ears. A full song was playing, the high frequency noises were just overpowering everything.

Wouldn't it make more sense to modulate the signal separately?

I know of other signals (Classic hits and Oldies) that use the AM as the parent signal, it sounds like the signal was downgraded for a cheap $5 scan radio.

You would think with today's technology, a web stream with correct EQ settings would feed the AM and FM.
