WBGX Harvey, WWHN Joliet, etc

Just curious how the smaller suburban AM's are hanging in there business wise. I can only speculate that WBGX is adversely effected by the stratospheric high property taxes in the south suburbs. WWHN, while way out in Joliet, and on a terrible frequency, certainly covers a lot of people. WCKG is an interesting one as well, that probably deserves it's own thread. How are these unique little stations able to hang on in 2017?
