AOL Instant Messenger to end in December

Yes its Oath inc the current owners of AOL is shutting down this original social network after two decades.

Yes part of it is low number of users and also the facebook, Twitter, Google+ factors are at play here.

And Oath, Inc. is a fully owned subsidiary of Verizon, which seems to be systematically dismantling any assembly of people to communicate and reason together around the country on various "departments" on AOL.
