Dave Strader, hockey announcer for the Dallas Stars and NBC Sports passes away at 62.

the hockey world and sports broadcasting world is in mourning due to the untimely passing of Dave Strader. The hockey announcer best known as "The Voice" lost his battle with Cholangiocarcinoma, a form of bile duct cancer that he had been battling for a year. he had been the announcer for Detroit Red Wings, Arizona Coyotes and Florida Panthers and most recently the Dallas Stars. he also called the Winter Olympics and NHL games for NBC Sports

he was 62 years old.
