Gotta start somewhere, but in a major market like Phoenix? Some of the recent hires at KTAR are bringing new meaning to "news readers". They sound like they're fresh out of high school, bypassing the Media Hut where we teach 'em to say the news, not read it. And another thing, a bunch of them pronounce it Noose, not Newz.

OK, OK...now that I've chased all the kids off the front lawn of the Media Hut, time for the Nurse and me to get the Early Bird special at Luby's. Nothing quite like dinner at 3:30pm. YIKES!
 
I don't listen to KTAR anymore, just like I don't watch local TV news. Too many seemingly inexperienced people mangling the English language.
