I saw various posts by past and current DJ’s (Jade Alexander, Stuart Elliot, Libby Kay, Mindy Lang) on Facebook advising that Rick Shaw passed away this morning. Confirmed by all access article below.

A 54 Share at WQAM, wow! Rick was a great personality and well loved in the Community. He will be missed!

Slightly off topic, but I have not been able to get ahold of my good friend who went by the name of John Paul Roberts (JPR) between 1968 and 1970 on WQAM under Rick Shaw.
He has had health issues including at least one heart attack a few years ago. He does not answer either his home phone or his cell phone. Does anyone know what has become of him?
Here is a low-res single shot of him and There is a group shot where he is laying on his back, second from the right.
Signed...Concerned.
