KMOW-LP 104.5 Mobile

Picked this up from ABMP.

Another "K" in Alabama? Does someone at the FCC think AL stands for ALaska?

Licensed to a Hispanic non-profit group.

I assume KMOW-LP will target lawn care workers of the Hispanic variety.

Either the FCC is run by myrmidons who don't know which of the 57 states are east and west of the Mississippi, or they've run out of W call signs. Seems like there were a handful of other K-calls assigned east of the river in the last release of changed call signs.

Guess not. Surely I wasn't imagining things. I know it was in the Media Bureau Call Sign Actions document thingy. It showed up on the LPFM Database Facebook page, as well as WTFDA's site, so I shouldn't be the only crazy one. I wonder if a hold was put on it for some reason?
