TSL to Launch ''Sunday Night Sports Talk''

Y2kTheNewOldies

Walk of Fame Participant
Talk Stream Live announces the launch of its second syndicated network talk program, "Sunday Night Sports Talk with Don and Galen Criqui." The show makes its debut July 2 airing every Sunday night at 9pm ET and offers two hours of sports commentary with a give and take only a father and son team can deliver. The duo will dive into the week's biggest sporting events, including a special emphasis on college football and the NFL. They'll also break down the "how it happened" and "why it happened" behind the headlines.

Don Criqui is an American Sports Broadcaster and the voice of Notre Dame Football on The Notre Dame/IMG Sports Network. He holds the record for longest-tenured broadcaster of one sports league in U.S. TV history, having called NFL football for 47 seasons (1967-2013) on both NBC and CBS. His career spans well beyond the NFL and includes announcing for the NCAA, NHL, PGA, Tennis and Olympic events. Crique has also been honored with the Pete Rozelle Award by the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

"It was a natural for us to partner with Talk Stream Live to create a sports talk show that appeals to the most avid fans. Galen and I are devoted to the craft and pledge to deliver the latest stories with a fresh perspective," said Criqui.

After graduating from Princeton University, Galen Criqui embarked on a career in government bond trading on Wall Street. For the past ten years Galen has been involved in private investments and coaching basketball (pro bono) on many levels from his own children's teams as well as high school basketball.

Coming soon to TSL

Well, if they actually focus on sports they'll be doing better than most local sports shows. I wish them well.
