Global Community Radio

Hello Everyone.
My name is Jason Longwell. I'm the manager of an internet based radio service called Global Community Radio (GCR). I am making this service available free of charge to any non-commercial radio station looking for a new source of diverse programming. I mainly target this service at small campus and community stations, but, I thought I would post some info about it here in case some public radio stations might want to consider offering GCR on one of their HD and/or internet subchannels.
The GCR website is:
http://globalcommunityradio.blogspot.com
In short, the two streams of Global Community Radio are:
GCR1: A 64k mono stream offering spoken word content. The emphasis is on world news, educational, informational and public service programming. We offer programs from a wide variety of public broadcasters, community radio stations, and independent producers from around the world, giving listeners many perspectives on a variety of issues and subjects.
GCR2: A 128k stereo stream devoted to fully hosted music shows. Shows are scheduled in a block style format, with genres as diverse as Classical, Jazz, Folk, Blues, Broadway Show Tunes, World Beat, Electronic, Oldies, Standards, Eclectic/Freeform, and much more.
Any non-commercial radio station is welcome to rebroadcast GCR programming as often as needed. You may rebroadcast content from GCR1, GCR2, or a mix of both streams, depending on what you think is best for your community. Legal station IDs are broadcast for all GCR partner stations on both streams at the top of every hour.
Here are the direct URLs for both streams. Most automation systems should be able to connect to these streams.

Please have a look at our schedules, and a listen to our streams. If you think this is something you or your station would like to pursue, I would be happy to start a dialogue with you.
