How didn't no one at the station realize after the first that was a bad idea. My opinion is either do away with the monthly EAS since they do weekly or get rid of the weekly EAS and do monthly.

The Commission took issue with the Jaguar spot that included audio that sounded like EAS alert tones actually in the spot. One of the few instances where the FCC has a track record of issuing pretty stiff fines for doing so.
This particular violation, had nothing to do with how often a station runs an EAS test, because it wasn't a station generated test or alert.

I knew that it was a violation that is why I said why didn't the station know after the first time. I was only giving my opinion on EAS as a whole not the TV station in question.
