Radio station in South Dakota loses license

A radio station in South Dakota recently had its license yanked by Uncle Charlie. KAWK (105.1) in Custer, South Dakota (southwest of Rapid City) had its license cancelled after the FCC determined that its license had expired in 2009 in part because of owner ignorance.

Here is one of the very few examples of a cancelled license. Technically the FCC didn't pull the license, it was the licensee didn't bother renewing it. Proof yet again: Ya can't fix stupid.
