Today's co-host on the WMAL morning show was introduced as, "here this week," but there's no mention that he's filling in for Brian Wilson -- in fact there's been no mention of Brian Wilson at all. Given the recent changes at "Mornings on the Mall," is Wilson on vacation or has he left?

Maybe he's on vacation. He's still on WMAL's website and there's nothing on DCRTV.COM to indicate that he left.

Thanks. It was odd that there was no mention of Wilson the first couple of days ... then they started mentioning he was on vacation.
But what's really missing from "Mornings on the Mall" is Larry O'Connor. That show was something special ... two real pros.
Does anyone else find the new co-host annoying? Maybe it's just me. I happen to share many of her views but I find her presentation irritating.
First there's the 'elementary school teacher' enunciation: "It's e-nine e-twenty four ..." And the exaggerated cheeriness, "Good MOOOOOORRRRNING!!" OK, we get it. And the giggling - if it's funny the audience will laugh, she doesn't need to.
It sounds like she's trying too hard. Hopefully she'll calm down over time.
