If you don't know yet you will. Most CE's, DOE's, DOE/IT, and MEM's, (and I am sure many other positions) anyone classified as "engineering management" that doesn't have 2 full time staff under them will now become an hourly employee.

I haven't punched a clock my entire life so I pose this as a constructive collaboration since I feel we all will feel the same in this regard. I have however studied the Department of Labors documents but before I share my view I would like to hear from my peers.

And please understand this is from Washington not our current employers, we need to make sure we keep that in mind before bashing any individual company from complying with federal law.

I have two separate jobs and both will remain exempt. I do NOT have any employees under me and at one job my salary is under the minimum ($903/weekly) I'm not sure how I was able to "slip under" but I did.
I, too, have not punched a time card since my college days and was relieved to learn my position(s) would not be reclassified.
