NPR Radio Sees Large Ratings Increases in 2016

Impressive numbers. Though the fact that NPR lives on the FM dial with typically strong signals cannot be ignored when comparing their ratings to traditional News/Talk stations that are almost all on the AM dial and some of which have poor coverage in parts of their markets. Being as the vast majority of people listen to FM, this makes it extremely easy for NPR to add listeners by comparison.

Their press release covers more than OTA radio, but also the impressions their content is getting on other platforms.
