Stephanie Miller and Thom Hartmann are both syndicated progressive talk show hosts who ALSO get carried on SiriusXM Progress Channel 127, which I believe pays decently. As long as they are being paid by Sirius, they will continue to host their three-hour shows and syndicate them to the remaining progressive talk radio stations. I would guess that Miller and Hartmann make most of their income from SiriusXM, but their syndication deals also provide some extra money.
Sadly there aren't many other syndicated progressive talk hosts out there. Randi Rhodes, Mike Malloy and Ed Schultz left syndication. Alan Colmes died last year. Norman Goldman is still syndicated from a station in Minneapolis. I guess Leslie Marshall is still on the air, but I'm not sure where. There are a couple of guys who do a show from Milwaukee in PM Drive, but I forget their names. Bill Press does mostly a podcast and live video stream. I'm not sure how many radio stations he has left, if any. And SiriusXM has several in-house hosts who are only heard on satellite radio.
Sorry to say, it wasn't long ago that you could cobble together an all-day Progressive Talk line-up.
