Larry Mendte: Going, going .......?

Scary Larry is still on the air doing morning drive at WILM/WDOV but one month ago I'mHeartlessMedia posted an ad for Cool NewsRadio Morning Drive Opportunity..

Is Larry's departure voluntary or involuntary? He wouldn't be the first to find a job posting for his current job. He's been at WILM/WDOV for about a year. The station has it's lowest ever average quarter hour share. Curiously, the ad says the gig offers a "modest salary."
 
I used to work at iHeart with Larry. He's been looking to get out of there for a while. EVERYONE is miserable in that building because management is so horrible. They don't care at all about their part timers or Full Timers on the programming side other than the morning show. I was told by the OM multiple times that they can't move anyone up so, if I want to go anywhere within the company, it won't happen in that building. All PT'ers make $8.50/hr no raises. ...big incentive to go to work, huh?

Mendte does a couple of TV shows in the New York and Philly Markets for METV and is on the radio every weekend at WABC in New York.
