Radio Disney Top 30 Countdown

Sadly, the Radio Disney Top 30 Countdown has changed after 20 years of being the flagship program on Radio Disney. It has gone down from 30 songs to only 10 songs. So now, it's the Radio Disney Top 10 Countdown. Ever since the change, Radio Disney hasn't updated the Top 30/Top 10 songs of the week. So Radio Disney downgraded one of their "top" programs they had. They even removed it from syndication!

I'm sure they had problems getting stations to carry it. The entire Radio Disney service aimed at OTA radio has changed completely since Disney sold all it's AM stations. They're now more focused on internet service, and providing a 24/7 channel for HD-2 channels.

All but one - KDIS 1110 Pasadena. It's still R-D, just to serve as a flagship for the online/HD2 service. Nothing is local on KDIS besides the TOH ID.

The principal reason to keep a Radio Disney station on the air in the US is to qualify for the different and less costly streaming rates under the DMCA and SoundScan tarifs.

There are many Radio Disney stations throughout Latin America, all of which I believe are FMs.
