KOIT is feeling The Breeze

Is it true that they torched an effigy of Delilah (8pm-1am on The Breeze) at Burning Man this year?

If you haven't heard 98.1 The Breeze, they sound like a frequency-modulated slice of mushy white bread covered in sugar, and they exist only to drag KOIT down in rank a notch or two. 98.1 is that long-awaited miracle station where you can get your Spandau Ballet fix, guilt-free.

KISQ is up to 15th in 25-54, and KOIT is down to 6th. At those levels, KOIT will gradually lose business and KISQ with increase nicely. Agencies buy based on rating, and KOIT has a 0.3 and KISQ has a 0.2, so they are quite close.

Even if The Breeze does not become number One. Their job is to hurt KOIT and help the other iHeart stations in this cluster.

Wonder if competition from The Breeze is behind the KOIT morning show changes. Charly Kayle is gone. Can't imagine they'll leave Andrew on his own since he's pretty weak.

No question about it, KOIT's playlist has quietly shifted back to more of an adult style playlist rather than some of the juvenile bubblegum titles I hear them playing. Finally two more FM's in market #4 competing for where the money really is! May the trend continue!

Great changr. Love it

So KISQ can't catch a break in the long run

They got beat by KRBQ in the ratings
They getting beat by KOIT in the ratings

What's next for 98.1

It seems like KOIT's listeners didn't like the Pop Music, When they Shifted Back they came back to KOIT
