R&B in SD!

So it seems to me a straight ahead R&B station would do well in SD. Magic does well with the oldies but we need a station giving us todays R&B. How long has it been since we had a true R&B station?

Well, San Diego had one in XHRM until their flip to Alternative in 1993. However, based on information from the other site, iHeart is looking at turning KSSX into a Rhythmic Top 40, billing themselves as... drum roll please... JAM'N 95.7!

PS: Big Boy is coming too!

Is this station on 95.7 HD3 or is it the main signal on 95.7 displacing KISS FM there?

1. Radioinsight, which claims its the main signal.

2. Based from what All Access is claiming, the HD3 signal, which debuted with R&B/Hip-Hop at 12 Mid Friday (March 25, 2016).

3. Which means that Big Boy could end up on the latter.

4. Which in turn paves the way for KSSX to go Rhythmic full time.

It looks like iHeart just gave Louie Cruz a new job with their Modesto/Stockton cluster, which means something is up with KSSX.
