Ludlow Porch - Been gone 5 years now Feb 11

Ludlow Porch (Bobby Hanson) passed away 5 years ago. His former producer Denny Ainsworth posted on Facebook a remembrance of him. See the magazine article on Ludlow from 2006. Miss his shows from the old days of WSB AM. When WSB celebrated the 25th anniversary of the morning show, you have to remember that Ludlow was part of the reason the station went all Talk. Great humorist, trivia expert, and story teller. How many of you were "Whackos"?

To me, his funniest line …

… was delivered at an after-dinner appearance before the Atlanta Chapter of the Women in the Motion Picture Industry (WOMPI). He was playing trivia with us, asked a question and some guy answered something completely and totally irrelevant. Ludlow's topper: "Those short naps are great, aren't they?"
