Counties without radio stations

Marlboro County, South Carolina used to have a station and the towers are still there, but it has been off the air several years.

There is a Nash station whose tower is within the county but aside from Nash's other problems, it is intended for the market nearby which has a city large enough for several stations.

Marlboro County now has three LPFMs, WEHF and WRQP in Bennettsville and WOPA in Clio.

Back on topic:
Cheyenne County, CO only has a satellator.
Cheyenne County, KS only has a satellator.
Crowley County, CO has none at all.
Hinsdale County, CO has a few translators, but no full-power station.
Kiowa County, CO has none at all.
Lincoln County, CO has an AM (which has a CP to move into Colorado Springs, but will keep its COL within the county) and two satellators, but no locally based radio station.
Mineral County, CO only has a satellator.

Most (if not all) of these counties do get some radio coverage from nearby counties.

Loving County, TX, has a population of just 113, according to a 2016 estimate by the U.S. Census Bureau. Not surprisingly, they don't have any stations of their own anywhere in the county. A search on Radio-Locator turned up just seven stations, two FM, and five AM (one of those being Mexican) in the county seat town of Mentone, itself an unincorporated community, and apparently the only "town" of any sort in the whole county.

Loving County would be a DXer's dream!

I may have to go through a lot of the counties in New Mexico but the first that comes to mind is Harding County, NM (Population 695).

Two more NM possibilities: Hidalgo County and Catron County. All the full-powered stations in both counties are owned by Ted Tucker, who is infamous for keeping stations off the air. However, Hidalgo County does have a KRWG translator and Catron County has a KJZZ translator.

Mora County NM only has a translator of KENW.

Grant County, MN (my uncle lives in Elbow Lake)
20 minutes away from Fergus Falls and 26 miles from Alexandria, MN so they do get stations ;)
