Blackbelt Broadcasting Inc. Is seeking sales (possible GSM) applicant for WLYB FM (Livingston/Demopolis Alabama).
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:•Generate new business for the station through cold calling.•Work with management and employees to present, negotiate and close sales programs and sponsorship
opportunities to new clients. •Sell and create integrated on-air, on-line, and on-site programs to help further clients’ goals.•Provide outstanding service to new and existing clients, including helping to develop ideas for programs or promotional opportunities.•Communicate and manage all aspects of signed agreements with the production, and promotions department,
including but not limited to timelines, approvals and updates.
•Represent Blackbelt Broadcasting Inc. in the highest regard within the community, our clients, and audience.
•Represent Blackbelt Broadcasting Inc. in the highest regard within the community and business environment when
involved in civic and professional organizations to further project the station name and image•Present proposals to potential clients effectively through both written and verbal communication.•Address client/customer needs while following company procedures.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
•Stable work history
•Valid driver's license.
•A minimum of 1 year of experience in a sales or business development role.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:•A minimum of 3 years of experience in a sales or business development role.•Experience selling advertising, sponsorships, promotional programs or fundraising.•Experience developing business in electronic or print media
•Experience generating clients through cold calling.•Experience developing a marketing/events strategy for clients and executing that plan.*
