Poll after poll shows politicians in Washington are despised by a majority of Americans. If you took a poll of radio executives, that might result in very different results. In fact 2014 couldn't come fast enough as radio deals with tough political comps from 2012, especially in the upcoming 4th quarter. With every political season comes and explosion of political spending as candidates duke it out with one another, often trying to highlight who his or her opponent is the devil and will ruin your life. USA Today has an excellent layout of high-stakes races, which means, the money will follow. Of course, it appears again that TV will get the bulk of the money.
