Minneapolis needs a Hip Hop station!!!!

Not likely. With now two country stations going at it, more heritage stations might be getting competition as time goes on. These things are cyclical. Eventually The Edge and some version of B96 will come back.

I know KMOJ is predominately urban AC, but they're plugging the new Kanye West video on their web site and they do seem to have hip-hop shows on Saturdays.

Not many people venture down to the Non-Comm frequencies to know they are there. It's well known that the station is continually in financial straits. After the unceremonious dismissal from the Foshay, I can't imagine the IDS is any cheaper.
