Would You Consider This to Be a Good Radio Station

This radio station's slogan would be "The Best of 80s, 90s, 00s, 10s, and Today!". It would not play any Urban or Rhythmic songs.

An example of this station's playlist would be:

Today:
fun. "We Are Young"
Gavin DeGraw "Not Over You"
Adele "Rumor Has It"
Daughtry "Crawling Back to You"
The Fray "Heartbeat"
Foster the People "Don't Stop (Color on the Walls)"
Young the Giant "Cough Syrup"

10s:
Muse "Resistance"
30 Seconds to Mars "Closer to the Edge"
Florence + the Machine "Dog Days Are Over"
Neon Trees "Animal"
Mumford and Sons "Little Lion Man"
Lifehouse "All In"
Plain White T's "Rhythm of Love"

00s:
Lifehouse "Hanging by a Moment"
Train "Drops of Jupiter (Tell Me)"
Vertical Horizon "Everything You Want"
Aqualung "Brighter Than Sunshine"
Kings of Leon "Use Somebody"
Sara Bareilles "Love Song"
Phil Collins "Look Through My Eyes"
Matchbox Twenty "Unwell"
The Killers "Mr. Brightside"
Snow Patrol "Chasing Cars"
Mat Kearney "Nothing Left to Lose"
The Calling "Wherever You Will Go"

90s:
Tal Bachman "She's So High"
Goo Goo Dolls "Slide"
Blues Traveler "Hook"
Gin Blossoms "Follow You Down"
The Rembrandts "Johnny, Have You Seen Her"
R.E.M. "Losing My Religion"
Black Crowes "Hard to Handle"
Eric Clapton "Change the World"
Sting "Fields of Gold"
Third Eye Blind "Semi-Charmed Life"
Seal "Kiss From a Rose"

80s:
a-ha "Take On Me"
Modern English "I Melt With You"
Tears for Fears "Everybody Wants to Rule the World"
Naked Eyes "Always Something There to Remind Me"
Tracy Chapman "Fast Car"
Bryan Adams "Summer of '69"
Phil Collins "Against All Odds (Take a Look at Me Now)"
Men At Work "Overkill"

Maybe cut back the 80s a little. Nice playlist of 00s and currents, 90s look good too. Here's what I'd add, 00s, Plane White T's 1, 2, 3, 4 (I Love You) and Dirty Little Secret, Move Along and Gives You Hell by All American Rejects. For 90s, The Rembrants - I'll be There for You, That's Just The Way It Is Baby, and maybe even Rollin' Down The Hill. How About Fastball - The Way or what was the other hit they had in the 90s? The 80s could work here too, add some Duran Duran maybe? Love Shack by the B52s and there. Seems pretty evenly mixed, and I'd listen. Sometimes our Hot AC especially in the 80s lunch, leans really Classic Hits. If this doesn't happen to this station and it stays in where the Journey stations are, especially with 80s, you're good. I'd also alter the slogan to just 80s, 90s, 2K, and today or even just the best mix of the 80s to today.

Yes! Looks like WEEM - Pendleton, IN. We go by 90's, 2K & Today (not many 80's in rotation).

Top 20:

1. Adele - Set Fire To The Rain
2. Gotye - Somebody That I Used To Know
3. Black Keys - Lonely Boy
4. Gavin DeGraw - Not Over You
5. Fun - We Are Young
6. Foster The People - Don't Stop
7. Coldplay - Paradise
8. Train - Drive By
9. Young The Giant - Cough Syrup
10. Fray - Heartbeat
11. Grouplove - Tongue Tied
12. Florence & The Machine - Shake It Out
13. Christina Perri - A Thousand Years
14. M83 - Midnight City
15. Daughtry - Crawling Back To You
16. Cage The Elephant - Aberdeen
17. Jason Mraz - I Won't Give Up
18. Jack White - Love Interruption
19. Snow Patrol - Called Out In The Dark
20. Neon Trees - Everybody Talks

If you're gonna focus your station on this stuff, I wouldn't go back before the year 2000, or at least not before the post-grunge era (I'd say cut it off around 1996)

Foster The People, 30 Seconds To Mars, and Muse aren't gonna sound right followed by Phil Collins, and I'm guessing they don't share too much of a joint fanbase

First, a slogan that long is suicide. It doesn't relate to the listener and sounds terrible. Best of what? Are you going to play the BEST of Country, Hip-Hop, Rock, Christian and Pop?

Second, the "10's" ARE today.

2. Gotye - Somebody That I Used To Know

This is one heck of a song, for 2012....Sounds great & I hope it hits #1 on the Hot 100!

It has reached #1 on the Alternatives chart and in the UK.

This station is awesome... but I have to drive up about 45 miles north to hear it... I live in Martinsville Indiana.. I am Able to DX this station at times, but CX have to be just right

That sounds like a good Hot AC station to me, just get rid of the 80s music. Hot ACs technically don't play 80s music today. A few years back, that was okay, but now 80s music is too old for Hot AC stations today.
